OreoNoHeels is the contraction of two elements,
“Oreo” and “No Heels“
“Oreo” is one my family would use to describe me. Although I don’t find it accurate, it doesn’t bother me as much as it used to. I am a black 22 years old woman with music tastes that doesn’t apply to its stereotype. According to them, I love “white” people music. Although every genre of music as racial origins, music itself doesn’t have a race. I’m therefore just your average black girl magic anyway. But since Oreos are the best cookies ever, I take it anyway.
“No Heels” is the element that is just to most obvious about me. I’m 22 years old and I have yet to reach 5’1″. Although most girls in this position would wear high heels to fill the gap, I intend to maintain my shortness by refusing heels.
