On Friday 8th June, Netflix aired the two hours long finale of Sense8. Although it was only two seasons, it was to me one of the most beautiful thing I’ve ever witnessed. Let me try to convince those who still haven’t watched to see it.
Here’s a little review of what happened in 2017 for me. I really wanted to review all of them, but that’s just not possible. Too much feelings, not enough time.
I was one of those girl who went to see Black Panther the day it came out. I was surrounded by black beauties from left and right and celebrating my mother land that I don’t know well enough, Africa. The movie itself was, to me, one of the (if not the) best Marvel movie ever and probably the movie of the year.

In France, the Norwegian TV Show, “Skam”, has a reboot. And… for those who actually watched the original version, it’s just as painful as it sounds.
Whilst everyone is obsessed with “The End of The Fucking World” and rating the episodes of “Black Mirrors” last season (which I also did), my personal 2018 favorite show is Grown-ish ! You’re going to have to read this to know why. And if you don’t like to read… I mean there’s some Yara Shahidi content to look forward to.
You can say whatever you want, but in terms of media, 2017 was a female. Big stuff have been happening for us ladies, and some of them are still happening. Let me tell you about one special in my heart.
The movement I’ll talk about in this article is french/belgian, but I believe it concerns a worldwide audience. And, who knows, it might inspire my one South Korean reader or the one from Brazil.
Just like every seasons has its color, it also has a playlist. Just like a perfect wedding, mine has somethings new, somethings old and somethings borrowed.
I’m not going to lie, I honestly disliked its first single, I decided to give Jesse Rutherford’s solo album a try. Here’s an honest opinion of it although I, sadly, don’t believe in it.
